After picking up Anette and Brigitte from the airport we headed up to Nottingham for the 2017 Sasha Celebration Weekend. We arrived and mingled in the bar area while we waited for the others to arrive.

Wonderful photos Theresa, thank you for keeping a record of all the goings on! I loved looking at the display of the Pearly History in particular, what an amazing amount of work you put in, every sequin by hand I have heard! The Kelly Winarski doll in the raffle was donated by Peggy Livingston by the way ❤

Thanks Janet I will amend the blog and I will post the Pearly history later. Yes every button and sequin was sewn by hand apart from about 30 flower embellishments which were glued on x

What truly super photos Theresa! Particularly loved seeing just how early some collectors arrived at the meeting place and how it gradually began to fill up, Enjoyed recognising and putting names to the various folks that I have met in past. Sasha events.
Lovely to have a close up previews of some of the National Costume competition entries. So much thought and detail involved here. Not sure how you had the patience to sew on all those sequins and beads but it looked fabulous in the end so well worth the time and effort. (Congratulations too on winning a prize!)
Great to see the raffle prizes and just how generous the Sasha collectors are.
Looking forward to Part 2.
