The Brownies and the Girl Guide are raising money for charity by holding a competition to guess the bears name.

img_1434

Pippin and Ruth are discussing who should take a turn sitting in the chair.

img_1437

Binky reminds them that she to has been standing on her feet all day too.

img_1456

Mean while back at home Caleb tells Nuru he is just popping out for a while and he won’t be long.

img_1453

Nuru wonders where on earth Caleb is going?

img_1433

Back at the Charity event the girls are still discussing the chair issue, when Ruth says, “look here comes a customer.”

img_1435

Hi says Caleb, “what are you up to?

img_1429

Binky explains to Caleb that if he pays 10p, he can guess the bears name and if he gets it correct, he can take the bear home.

img_1432

Caleb pays his 10p and writes down a name for the bear. Binky is stunned Caleb has guessed the correct name “Fred bear”.

Caleb collects his prize and returns home.

img_1456

Nuru asks Caleb, where have you been? Caleb says, its a surprise.

img_1455

What kind of surprise says, Nuru.

img_1457

Close you eyes and put out your hands, says, Caleb.

img_1459

Nuru is very happy with her new bear.

img_1460

Nuru says, thank you Caleb you are the best brother in the world.

The Chat’n’Snap was the start of an amazing week.

The theme was Brownies and Scouts.

My three girls attended as two brownies and one girl guide. There wonderful outfits were made by Vicky Chapman and I added the merit badges and neck pins.

First is Binky my 1968 single fringed girl wearing her Girl Guide Uniform.

At Gayles table I purchased a pair of purple/lilac shoes which match Gitta’s ,Frances Trickett outfit perfectly.

img_1478

Whats that Gitta ?

Oh, I see Woof needs a walk.

img_1479

img_1476

I also managed to purchase the Festival outfit from 2014 from Gayle’s table. My London girl  Gracie, took quite a shine to it as you can see from the photos.

img_1486It doesn’t stop there. At the Chat’n’Snap, Janet presented me with my softy bebe. I had rooted the hair and Janet had transformed her into the most beautiful little darling. I am over the moon with her.

img_1498

Now then a very special Sasha friend who has not been too well recently, has surprised me by sending me a lovely birthday card with my little cherub on it. I am thrilled. It was a lovely surprise.
