Sasha Went North

On Saturday 26th September there was a gathering of Sasha folk at Croxdale Community Centre in Durham. It was a fabulous day and a chance to meet with old friends and new. There we crafts, sales tables competitions and a raffle to raise money for the Great North childrens hospital in Newcastle.

Once everyone had arrived we went to our craft tables. There were 3 crafts and you were given 30 minutes at each table and then rotated, so everyone ha a chance to do all crafts. The first craft table I went to was being tutored by Pam Winter-Turner on styling a sasha dolls hair and we were given little packs of hair accessories.

The next craft table I went to was to be tutored by Tricia Jackson on how to make and decorate a felt pinafore for baby Sasha.

The final craft I attempted was tutored by Natalie and was decoupage.
