Hello all and welcome to 2016. I hope you are all looking forward to The Sasha Celebration in May.

As we all know this event is a time to all catch up and enjoy ourselves and 1 of our main events is the raffle. so please donate a raffle prize which can be anything Sasha related. All money raised will go to a children’s charity so it is for a very good cause. If you have a raffle prize that you would like to donate then please contact myself, Janet or Tricia.

Tricia will be posting the official Sasha Celebration Weekend  Newsletter soon, so  this is just an update.

Now then, as you may or may not know , The Sasha Celebration Weekend is held in Nottingham not far from Sherwood Forest the home of Robin Hood.

So our theme this year is Robin Hood and there will be a prize for the best Robin Hood outfit.

A few months ago I purchased a Robin Hood Costume pattern which even includes a section on how to make arrows. I have been in touch with the designer of the Robin Hood pattern and she has very kindly agreed to allow me to copy the pattern for any of the Sasha Celebration attendees that would like to use it to make their costume. So Many thanks to Judi of Judi designs.

There will be craft tables and I can tell you about two of them.

One of the craft tables will be run by myself and it will involve decorating masks for your Sasha Gregor, Button nose, Toddler and or Baby. As in the photo below you can see that you can use different colours and embellishments to make it your unique design. to get some idea of how many and what type of Sasha doll you would like to make a mask for and any preference as to colour just drop me a line. Your dolls will be wearing their masks to dinner in the evening and their will be a prize for the best mask.

Another of the craft tables will be run by Doll Mum and this year she will be showing us how to make a Sasha sized Marionette  puppet. Doll Mum has asked me to find out a rough idea how many people would like to have a go at making a puppet and she crafts all the parts herself.

Well, that’s the end of my update for now and you will be receiving  the official Newsletter soon.

PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO DONATE YOUR RAFFLE PRIZES, THE MORE TICKETS WE SELL THE MORE MONEY WE RAISE FOR CHARITY !!!
