The Chat’n’Snap was the start of an amazing week.
The theme was Brownies and Scouts.
My three girls attended as two brownies and one girl guide. There wonderful outfits were made by Vicky Chapman and I added the merit badges and neck pins.
First is Binky my 1968 single fringed girl wearing her Girl Guide Uniform.
Next is pippin a wider faced Sasha wearing her Brownie uniform
Next is Ruth my blonde 1969 full centre part wearing her Brownie uniform
I was lucky enough to win a lovely dress and pants set by Dee’s sister Michelle, which Nuru my golden eyed Cora is modelling along with one of Michelle’s lovely necklaces.
At Gayles table I purchased a pair of purple/lilac shoes which match Gitta’s ,Frances Trickett outfit perfectly.
Whats that Gitta ?
Oh, I see Woof needs a walk.
I also managed to purchase the Festival outfit from 2014 from Gayle’s table. My London girl Gracie, took quite a shine to it as you can see from the photos.
I would also like to add that the little rug in the photo’s was purchased from Linda Simpson.
Next: I purchased this lovely ensemble which Ellie is modelling from Brenda Walton’s table. (Ellie is still for sale if you are interested.)
I purchased a lovely coat set from Ruth Hartley’s table, which my course doll hybrid is modelling.
Polly my course doll is chuffed to bits with her new outfit from Linda Simpson, thank you very much Auntie Linda.
Polly is also wearing a necklace by Dee’s sister Michelle.
Now this has ben a rather extraordinary week for me. I have been looking for a Yamka for a long time and was lucky enough to purchase on from the Bazaar and a beauty she is too.
Well, you could knock me down with a feather when at the Chat’n’Snap I managed to purchase another one.
So now I have twins.
It doesn’t stop there. At the Chat’n’Snap, Janet presented me with my softy bebe. I had rooted the hair and Janet had transformed her into the most beautiful little darling. I am over the moon with her.
Now then a very special Sasha friend who has not been too well recently, has surprised me by sending me a lovely birthday card with my little cherub on it. I am thrilled. It was a lovely surprise.
And here she is with her big sisters.
Hope you enjoy all the photo’s and thanks for looking x

Looks like you have indeed had a wonderful week, lots of fun, makes and purchases! I have that very same rug – Peggy Sue usually has it in her bedroom, (which is currently dismantled) I also just recently was given that tin toy merry go round as well, it is such fun and quite mesmerising. Love you Yamkas, these are wonderful Sashas and your Bebe is very sweet indeed.
